My Life

Hi my name is Sabrina Jaftha, I'm from Mitchell's Plain where i live with my mom,older brother and grandmother.
At a young age in primary school i loved being active and also joined after school programs taking part in sports in my community and also ran the Two Ocean Marathons every year up until 2017, which was also the year i matriculated from high school and also had my matric ball, now currently i'm a student at Chrysalis Academy where i'm doing a 3 month course and this far my stay at Chrysalis Academy has been an amazing life experience.

Chrysalis Academy has taught me a lot about life,the strength i have within myself and has also help me grow spiritually,physically,mentally and i have also become emotionally strong.

Each day is filled with support,life skills and motivations to encourage you daily.
I'm also happy i got to see my family on the 14 October 2018,the day spend with them was amazing and i can't wait to see them again on the next visitation but for now i'm still doing my second last phase at Chrysalis Academy which is skills phase and i'm doing Office Administration up until the 2 November 2018 and i'm really excited to see how this next few weeks will be for me and the rest of the Chrysalis students.

Growing up without a father

I am Chuma Lelethu Bongoza.I was born and bred in site b V section.My mother gave birth to me in site b day hospital on the 4 July 1998.2016 me and my family we moved into the place called Makhaza so we still living there.I grew up in a big family me,cousins,my aunties and my grand parents.But my mother only have 2 children me and my sister.I was raised by a single mother i never new how to grow up with you father.That was the painful thing to me as a child but i finally forgive that.Because i new i couldn't change the fact that my father did not want to be the part of my growing. To be honest growing up without a father is not a nice experience to a child.But on the other side i was lucky there was my grandfather who was a father to me.I grew up calling him Father and he was actually a father to me.He love me to a point where i even forget about my real one.He used to give me nice nicknames and brag about me saying i will be this and that.He wanted me to be the great thing ever ...

My name is Lungelwa Jubeni I was born in 07_05_1997 at Mandela hospital in Mtata.I grow up staying with my grandparents.When I was seven years  I started doing grade one at Rosedale junior Secondary School.My grandmother passed away in  2010 so I have to come and stay with my parents.On 2011 i started to do my grade  six .
